Intergraph and BASF Corp. Sign $995,000 Sales Contract for INtools Software
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., May 3, 1999 - Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ:INGR) today announced that BASF Corporation has signed a contract totaling $995,000 (US) to purchase Intergraph INtools™ instrumentation engineering and design software as well as related services. The INtools software replaces the in-house BASF instrumentation software, IEDA, at the company's corporate engineering offices and dozens of manufacturing sites in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Services include training and feasibility studies for conversion of existing data.
Includes Development, Delivery of Additional Features
The sales agreement includes the addition of several new features to
INtools, such as project data management mechanisms and specification grouping
as well as continued enhancements to the recently-introduced SmartLoop
feature. SmartLoop enables users to generate instrument loop drawings without
using an external CAD program and edit associated component data directly
from the loop drawing.
INtools Promotes Efficient Design, Data Exchange

Olive, NJ, said, "The INtools software will allow BASF Corporation to more efficiently exchange instrumentation design and maintenance data with our engineering, procurement and construction contractors that use INtools.
