This powerful solution combines project management functionality with Adaptive Media's ENVISION3D to produce an intuitive, 4-dimensional display of project status information.
VISPRO links project scheduling data from two leading project management applications, Microsoft Project(tm) and Primavera Project PlannerAE (P3), with three-dimensional models in ENVISION3D. Project information is translated into meaningful colors in the 3D model enabling managers, engineers, and clients to visualize the progress of their construction and engineering projects.
Visual Project Manager includes a rules editor which allows customization of business rules covering such areas of concern as budget, inventory and scheduling. The data resulting from these customized rules is used to "colorize" the ENVISION3D model, producing a unique, visual display of various types of project status information. For instance, if the project manager defines a "critical" cost over-run as anything that is 15% over budget, VISPRO uses ENVISION3D to display all components of the 3D model that are more than 15% over budget in red. The sections of the model that are between 0 and 15% over budget might be displayed in yellow while all the elements that are on or under budget would be green.
