Version 8.19D of DESIGN II for Windows is now available on our website, www.winsim.com.

This is an maintenance release of DESIGN II for Windows. This new release has the following changes:

  1. The Visual Basic interface into the DESIGN II simulator kernel has been further refined and had several new functions added to it for building your own custom applications
  2. The 8.19 A, B and C patches have been incorporated into this distribution (mixed amine flash, case study and inert components handling in the reactor module)
  3. Miscellaneous small enhancements and fixes (see release notes)

You may test drive the new release by downloading it (14 MB) from our website, www.winsim.com and installing it. Run DESIGN II for Windows and a dialog will come up with your Computer ID and ask you for a Serial Number and Password. You can get a Serial Number and Password emailed to you from our website on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week basis.

Version 8.20 of DESIGN II for Windows should be out in the next 2 to 4 weeks with:

  1. New air cooler module with 2 phase rating
  2. New vapor fraction feed stream flash (at T or P)
  3. Stream results on the flowsheet attached to the stream
  4. Many other improvements and enhancements
