AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 1999--Fisher-Rosemount, a manufacturer of hardware, software and technical support services for the process control industry, announced today that it has further expanded its Asset Management Solutions (AMS) software features to include a new interface option to the RBMware(tm) software suite from Computational Systems Incorporated (CSI). The single RBMware software covers all of the major technologies used in asset management such as rotational equipment analysis, vibration analysis, oil analysis, etc. CSI and Fisher-Rosemount are both subsidiaries of Emerson Electric. CSI delivers reliability-based maintenance products and services for plant rotational equipment. CSI's predictive maintenance products complement the AMS software product line by providing additional maintenance software and services for plant rotating equipment. CSI's RBMware delivers the capability to monitor and diagnose equipment such as motors, pumps and drives while AMS currently provides capability for monitoring and diagnosing field instrumentation and valves. Fisher-Rosemount is working closely with CSI to deliver access to all equipment condition information within a customer's plant. With the AMS 1.4.1, the CSI interface allows users to view a summary status of rotational equipment as well as field device information to be viewed from a single screen in an integrated fashion. This gives users a holistic view of a plant. Users launch the RBMware application from within AMS 1.4.1 software for detailed multi-technology analysis of equipment condition.
