aecXML Newsgroups Are Up
aecXML newsgroups are up at: news://news.aecxml.org/ . The group is gaining momentum among the AEC Community with Architects, Constructors and related software vendors in the lead. Their inaugural meeting in Dallas and Reading, UK, on September 15 drew more than 60 participants, representing software vendors, owner/operators, consulting and service organizations and building products manufacturers. Most of them volunteered to participate in committees to continue the process of creating aecXML. Five committees were established to continue the work of creating aecXML:
